      Nouns

      Nouns are the words that names people, place, animal and things. Around us we see so many things. Everything that we see has some name. Example: computer, blackboard, chalk, book, teacher etc.

       

      Common Noun

      Common nouns are the general or generic name of person, place, animal and things. Example: tree, man, mountain, box etc. Common noun is only capitalized if it is part of a title or it is used in the beginning of sentence.

       

      Proper Noun

      Proper nouns are the specific or particular name of person, place, animal and things. Example: Dia, Mt. Everest, Delhi etc. Proper noun is always capitalized.
