Nouns (Common and Proper)
Look carefully at the following two lists of Nouns.

The nouns in list (1) are the general or generic name of person, place, animal and things. They are called Common nouns.
Example: ‘boy’ can mean Ashok, Ravi, Jimmy or any other boy.
The nouns in list (2) are the special names of person, place, animal and things. They begin with a Capital Letter. They are called Proper nouns.
